Training:

4 Steps for Life

The fun way to learn CPR with your friends.

The 4 steps for life program has been specially developed to promote widespread awareness and confidence to perform CPR among people 50 years and over. It is not a substitute for accredited training that a person would require for their professional responsibilities.

The 4 steps for life program is a lifesaving initiative of the Metropolitan Ambulance Service, Rural Ambulance Victoria and the Victorian government.

The 4 steps for life are easier than you think.

You'll be suprised at how little you have to know to save a life. The 4 steps for life are:

  1. Call triple zero (000) for an ambulance
  2. Open the airway
  3. Breathe mouth to mouth
  4. Pump the chest

The 4 steps for life adds the first critical step of callinig for an ambulance.
